Recently Glorified Fathers of the Kyivan Caves
St. Theophil the Fool for Christ’s Sake; St. Parthenius, Staretz-Elder; St. Dosithea, in reality of woman, Ihumen of the Caves, who blessed St. Seraphim to go to Sarov; St. Paisius, Fool for Christ’s Sake; St. Alexei, Staretz-Elder; locally venerated Blessed St. Filaret, Metropolian of Kyiv, numbered with All Saints of Siberia; St. Lavrentii the Perspicacious; and the great Metropolitan of Kyiv and Archimandrite of the Kyivan Caves Lavra, St. Peter Mohyla .
There are also four, as yet unglorified and locally venerated holy ones of the Kyiv Caves Lavra (doubtless there are more):
Blessed Agapit; Blessed Vassian the Blind; Blessed Theophane and Blessed Jonah; ; In addition, there is a much-venerated nun at the Holosiyivo Convent associated with the Lavra, Blessed Alypia who reposed on Oct. 17, 1988.
